Composition Met XL T Tablets

Met XL T Tablets are composed of Olmesartan medoxomil, Amlodipine besylate, Hydrochlorothiazide – each as the active ingredient.

The inactive ingredients include cellulose microcrystalline, lactose monohydrate, crospovidone (type A), magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol 6000, hypromellose 2208 (15 cP), titanium dioxide, polydextrose triacetin.

Met XL T tablets are available for oral administration in strengths 20/5 mg (amlodipine 5 mg/olmesartan medoxomil 20 mg) + 12.5 mg hydrochlorothiazide tablets.

Each tablet contains Olmesartan medoxomil 20mg + amlodipine besylate 5mg + Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg as active ingredients along with other excipients such as cellulose microcrystalline lactose monohydrate crospovidone type

A magnesium stearate polyethylene glycol 6000 hypromellose 2208(15 cp) titanium dioxide polydextrose triacetin etc .

Uses:

Met XL T is used to treat moderate to severe high blood pressure in adults aged 18 years or older. It may be used alone or in combination with other medicines that reduce high blood pressure such as diuretics or beta-blockers..
