Composition Vertigon D Tablets

• Each Vertigon D Tablet contains 1.5mg of Betahistine dihydrochloride as its active ingredient.
• It also contains one or more of the following inactive ingredients: maize starch, carboxymethylcellulose sodium, lactose anhydrous, magnesium stearate and povidone.

Storage:

• Vertigon D Tablets should be stored at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C (36ºF–46ºF).
• They should be kept away from heat, light and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Product Information:

• Vertigon D tablets are white circular biconvex tablets with the marking “783” on one side and a break-line on the other side.
• The tablets come in blister packets containing 28 pieces each.

Uses:

• Vertigon D Tablets are used to treat problems such as vertigo, tinnitus or imbalance due to certain inner ear problems (such as Ménière’s disease).

Side Effects:

The most common side effects reported include nausea, headache, abdominal pain, diarrhoea and upper respiratory tract infection.

Less common but serious side effects can include hypersensitivity reactions like skin rash or difficulty breathing which requires immediate emergency medical attention.

How it Works:

Vertigon D works by blocking the release of histamine in the body which relaxes the blood vessels in the inner ear and increases its flow which improves symptoms such as balance disorders and vertigo caused by some inner ear diseases such as Ménière’s disease.

The medication is usually taken three times a day with food for best absorption into your bloodstream. It takes about 4 weeks for symptoms to start improving but it is advised to continue use for at least two months before expecting to see results from this medicine.
